Democrats filed complaint alleging "Mafia style corruption, extortion, bribery"

ENCNow

Democrat Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden is under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation for corruption.  McFadden is one of North Carolina's "sanctuary sheriffs" who refuses to cooperate with ICE in turning over illegal aliens who have committed crimes for deportation when ICE files a valid detainer.

The SBI investigation was ordered by Mecklenburg County's Democrat District Attorney after a Democrat legislator and others filed a removal petition in Superior Court against McFadden.  The complaint alleges "Mafia style corruption, intimidation, extortion and bribery."
