Virginia's new governor Abigail Spanberger, who campaigned as a pro-law enforcement moderate but turned to the hard left immediately after being sworn in, has hit a new low after her sanctuary state executive order.  She is set to release a 22 year old illegal alien from El Salvador who has been convicted of strangling and murdering an 8 month old baby girl into the community instead of turning him over to ICE for deportation.

The Democrat left is just openly pro-criminal.  There is no other explanation.  Not only do they not care about illegal aliens breaking our immigration laws, but they do not even seem to care about their breaking the most serious criminal laws here in Aermica.

Meanwhile, in New York City, a Democrat state judge is trying to help an illegal alien who has previously been deported and returned and has been convicted of attempted rape and strangulation avoid deportation by ICE.  The illegal alien had been released after serving that sentence and has been back in court with new charges, but the judge let him walk on no bond, so he could evade ICE.

Republican states are moving the opposite direction.  In Indiana, Senate bill 76 which sets out ways the state can assist ICE in deporting illegal aliens has been amended to strengthen it.  The bill requires law enforcement to honor detainers from ICE, requires hospitals to identify illegal aliens using Medicaid, and penalizes employers who hire illegal aliens.  In Tennessee, legislation is pending that would make it a state crime for any official to fail to honor an ICE detainer,
