they want sugary drinks and candy on taxpayers' dime

ENCNow

A lawsuit has been filed by food stamp recipients from multiple states to challenge restrictions on buying unhealthy foods like sugary drinks and candy with food stamps (SNAP).  The Trump administration has been working with states to implement these restrictions.

The lawsuit challenging these changes has been filed in Washington, DC, whose federal district court bench, led by its radical leftist political hack chief judge James Boasberg,  They have selected their court based on its politics.

It is not just the Trump administration that has been fighting for better nutrition for the poor.  Even Michelle Obama made this a major part of her agenda.  Maybe the Rump administration should adopt Michelle Obama's list of healthy foods and restrict use of food stamps to those foods.  Tell the foodstampers that they are restricted to the "Obama List" of foods.

We need to reduce our spending on food stamps. Restricting food stamps to Michelle Obama's list of healthy foods would be a great way to get the food stamp crowd upset at their own side.
