Conservative challenger Ken Paxton opens wide lead over Sen. John Cornyn (RINO-Texas) | Eastern NC Now
Paxon also runs better against Democrat Talaciro
Notorious RINO US Senator John Cornyn of Texas is a a primary runoff with conservative Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. The latest poll give Paxon a 16 point lead over Cornyn. Paxton is at 53% and Cornyn at 37%. Paxton also runs slightly better than Cornyn against Democrat nominee Talarico.
Cornyn has a liberal voting history in a number of areas including taxes and spending, gun rights, and immigration. He has been openly and loudly booed by delegates at the state Republican convention for his liberal votes.
