Since there is a LOT going on with the Newport wind project, it was suggested that everything be consolidated onto a webpage.

OK, done: here is the draft version. Hope you find it useful! Let me know any suggestions for improvements.

Another suggestion was that I conduct an informal public meeting about the proposed Newport wind project, well in advance of the next Newport public hearing (12/12/13). Due to other commitments and the holidays, the best time would be Sunday thru Wednesday of next week.

There are two options that I'd like your input on:

1 - Show the feature length, award winning movie Windfall, and then have a Q&A. The movie is an actual story (no actors) about a rural community in NY that was solicited by a wind developer, and what happened as the citizens got more educated.

2 - I can put on a 30± minute slide show about some economic and environmental realities here, and then have a Q&A.

Let me know your preference of these two options. If any of those days would be out for you, please let me know that as well.

Lastly, if you can assist in any way in providing a Newport venue for this meeting (100± people), etc. please let me know.

Thank you for your continued support.
