"Green energy" obsession drives Democrat states to higher electric prices than GOP states | Eastern NC Now

An obsession with "renewable energy", meaning wind and solar had driven German power prices to the highest in the world, three times as much as North Carolinians pay.  Wind and solar are weather dependent intermittent sources of electricity with a need for more redundancy and much higher system costs.

That trend is also evident in the Untied States, based on a new analysis by the Institute for Energy Research.  It finds that Democrat run states have higher electric rates than Republican run states because the Democrat run states have pushed wind and solar as energy sources and that drives up electric rates.

Unfortunately for North Carolina, our RINO legislative leadership, Senate boss Phil Berger and House Speaker Tim Moore, sold out to "woke" utility monopoly Duke Energy on this issue and have programmed in the same thing for our state.
