after Americans killed and injured in crashes
After numerous Americans have been killed an injured on our highways by illegal alien truckers, many of whom could not even speak English, a crackdown by the Trump administration targeting states that issued those licenses has born fruit. So far, it has gotten 28,000 commercial drivers licenses that had been issued to illegal aliens cancelled.
At the same time, the Trump administration has initiated a program to employ American veterans in truck driving jobs. Driving a truck is a well paid job and certainly not one "that Americans will not do".
