Recently, a town council in Texas defied a huge standing room only crowd of angry citizens and unanimously approved planning permission for a massive Islamic complex. Now citizens are circulated recall petitions to force a recall election, as can be done under Texas law, to remove the mayor and the entire town council which did that from office.
