A Beaufort County Grand Jury heard evidence in the case and indicted Mr. Tate on Three(3) counts of Statutory Rape and Three(3) counts of a Sex Offense. Mr. Tate was out on bond when he failed to appear for trial on August 10, 2015.

Grand Juries are required by General Statute to inspect the county jail one time each year. The Beaufort County Grand Jury did its duty according to their report dated June 23, 2014.
