One of the Tar Heel State’s smallest counties is speaking pretty loudly this week. Gates County is on the border with Virginia in the northeastern quadrant of the state. It’s county GOP organization has jumped head-first into the GOP primary for the US Senate.

Apparently, Bob Pittenger wants a do-over. The Charlotte area congressman didn't handle his last attempt at a town hall meeting very well. He ended up putting himself in the crosshairs of the Tea Party - and most North Carolinians - on the issue of ObamaCare.

Republican Congressman Robert Pittenger, home for the summer recess, has been holding Town Hall Meetings in his district. In a recent one, a Tea Partier rose to ask Pittenger what he described as an easy question, requesting a simple yes or no answer.
