The early service on Sunday, was lovely. A light fog hung over the territory, like a fine linen.

This day has been nothing short of glorious. The cold wind and rain have passed and were replaced with warm golden light that lit the trees up.

I get home at a very reasonable hour. I drive through the countryside, past fields, now gilded in gold- and quiet pastures. I come home to a jolly "welcome wagon".

For days, rain has fallen on the rabbit patch. The sun managed to bring a golden glow to the early service, and that was lovely.

As usual, I've been preparing for our upcoming vacation, a river cruise through the South of France, by reading books set in that locale.
