I didnt see that coming.
But then, I didnt see how he got hired in the first place. I never saw a public vote on it.
To be honest, I didnt like the smug superior way he talked to the Council members. They may have deserved some of it, but only because several of them were beginners and just learning their way. But later, it did become offensive.
I'm glad he's gone. He was one of those elitists who told the citizens...if u dont like it, take us to court.

The next move will be interesting. Maybe the Warsaw City Attorney, Kennedy Thompson who recently resigned would like the job. He sounds like a man with scruples.

PK, when I say letter, I mean e-mail letters and I write a lot of them with questions, request, and my concerns about local matters. It is common to be ignored, or just get a quick brush off, giving no answer.

You sound as though this surprises you. Who do you correspond with?

Why John Valley? Partly because the media presents all the news as if they were the Anchors calling the plays of a football game. Who's up? Who's down, who made a mistake, who is the hero of the game? Whose fault it is, and on and on and on. Everything in the news seems to be a competition of winners and losers...which changes day to day.
But there is something else, most conservatives believe u cant cheat an honest man, meaning that such a person knows that nothing is free and everything has a cost. If a govt can give you everything, then they can take everything away as well. A half truth is a whole lie. I dont trust anyone anymore. Sadly I worry abt my favorite Commissioners. So far so good, but... they r only human. Will A.I. decide we dont deserve to live. I'd say its debatable. However, I did note that the soccer fans think the USA is wonderful. Its a bright spot in my day.
Why distrust Dems? They believe "the ends justify the means!" It shows a lack of integrity.

The City of Washington’s Board of Adjustment has revoked the special use permit for the Ell Hotel, owned by Mayor Ellen Brabo, citing zoning violations.

It would be nice if the Board of Adjustment was consistant about enforcing Zoning Regs in Washington. They recently approved a City landfill in an Airport District.
They also approved a waste site in a city residential area operated by a business. It appears they are just rubber stamps for the Planning Dept.
In Washington, its not what...but WHO you are that matters.

So the bureaucratic capal won the struggle for top dog in Washington Govt.
We the People ELECT representatives to lead our govt, then one Rep tells us he has learned that Democracy in Washington is a sham and then quits because he knows that the newly elected have all been neutered.
Then another councilman tells me "we have no power."
Well if thos we elect have no power, then we the Citizens have no power. We are told elections are how we control our government. But in Washington that has turned out to be a lie. So why do we have elections? Its a bureaucratic dictatorship, complete w the power to destroy those bothersome humans that criticize them.
No wonder everyone on NOW use aliases, and then STILL most are afraid to speak up.
Its a fact that dictatorship kill their "useful idiots" first. I know too much. These r words to the wise, for the useful fools.
I say fired every single Dept head that has been here more than 2 years. Fire those long time Board of Adjustment members too

I would like to see a whole lot of useless City STAFF, fired.
The level of attentiveness some put to their jobs is what a carpenter or some handymen might call, "Close enough for Government Work."
In other words its not of a great quality but it will get by. The Council members who tolerate it are just as much to blame.

Looks like JDavis may need some advice from Hood on how to deal with govt meetings where 3 of those voting will ALWAYS automatically disagree with anything that Davis is For. The beatings will continue.

I still havent seen a public meeting vote to hire the new manager.

Wow, The City Council held an old fashion Witch Burning last night, Or I could call it a RailRoading of JoeDavis. The three amigos, showed they ARE the CityCabal and will burn anyone who doesnt toe their Line. I'm seeing some very vengeful council members & there are 3 who would probably love for Rorie to sue any citizens who effectively criticizes their judgements. Very Scary!

The night's events were so dominated by Tyre that one begins to wonder if he is the secret Mayor & maybe CityManager combined. That man sure loves the sound of his voice. Perrault & Horton keep sharing All-Knowing glances w each other. Perrault even calls 4 the citizens to unite to torch Davis.

Early on, Rorie noted that he was hving "a Washington Moment." It was as if to say, all he had heard abt the City is true.
And Fritz looke lik a man who just landed on Mars & realized he is the only Human there, and if he is going to survive he's going to hav to begin composting his own poop to grow potatoes(TheMartian)

I wouldnt vote for Kidwell even if John Steed paid me!
He is a lousy representative because in reality he works only to represent his own agenda. What is that agenda? More power I imagine!
I begged for help from him and he didnt lift a finger for me. Eventually he just ghosted me. I guess I was too small to bother with.

So when powerless citizens contact Kidwell to ask 4help w a State matter, his office responds,saying that he cant help w this State issue, & within the body of that same letter he tells us that the city told his office, YOU have overgrown tree issues. Why the hell is a State Rep discussing such an issue? Furthermore, how is it to be interpreted? Is that a threat coming from Kidwell? Is it a kind of warning that says to the citizen, shut up or we can make life hard for u? I say it is a threat from both Kidwell's office & the City STAFF. And THAT is reason enough to retire Kidwell. He's callin on our people to resign, helpin others running 4 Mayor to fight the city, & all th while tellin senior citizens, you've got overgrown tree issues. What will happen to this VerySeniorCitizen now that this has been revealed?
I hope the new Council is listening w both ears & an open heart.

!Feeling like RoadKill in a small town and not safe in America.
