Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisLooks like JDavis may need some advice from Hood on how to deal with govt meetings where 3 of those voting will ALWAYS automatically disagree with anything that Davis is For. The beatings will continue.
I still havent seen a public meeting vote to hire the new manager.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisIt's clear to me that none of the very vocal people here watched the City Council meeting Monday. If they had, they would surely have something to say about the disgraceful and "premeditated" way Joe Davis was treated by the 3 Amigos. They appeared to be "organized" in their attempt to burn Davis to the ground. If one doesn't approve of Davis, then if they are being honest, one would also disapprove of the revenge tactics seen Monday, especially by Perreault. Yes, if Washington is broken, it's getting even more broken by the day. People should be able to disagree, without becoming mean and openly hateful.

The three amigos, showed they ARE the CityCabal and will burn anyone who doesnt toe their Line. I'm seeing some very vengeful council members & there are 3 who would probably love for Rorie to sue any citizens who effectively criticizes their judgements. Very Scary!
The night's events were so dominated by Tyre that one begins to wonder if he is the secret Mayor & maybe CityManager combined. That man sure loves the sound of his voice. Perrault & Horton keep sharing All-Knowing glances w each other. Perrault even calls 4 the citizens to unite to torch Davis. Early on, Rorie noted that he was hving "a Washington Moment." It was as if to say, all he had heard abt the City is true. And Fritz looke lik a man who just landed on Mars & realized he is the only Human there, and if he is going to survive he's going to hav to begin composting his own poop to grow potatoes(TheMartian)

Bubba, Kidwell may have time to place a vote for a Large voting block issue, but he has no time for the "little guy." The little guys likes those of us who voted for Stacey Davis to represent us on the School Board. Kidwell thinks he can come here locally and throw his elitist weight at us and hence overstep his authority, and thus called for the resignation of Stacey Davis. Stacey, a local person who we little guys of Beaufort County voted for. He SOUGHT To Eliminate our VOICE.
Why did he do that? Because he thinks he is a Raleigh big shot! We locals need change. Make Beaufort County Great Again...JUST SAY NO TO KIDWELL!!

He is a lousy representative because in reality he works only to represent his own agenda. What is that agenda? More power I imagine! I begged for help from him and he didnt lift a finger for me. Eventually he just ghosted me. I guess I was too small to bother with. *Just say NO to Kidwell.*

Its more concerning to me what a BIG State Representative does to the "small" pple of a town of less than 10,000. The majority of such local people r powerless over what a strong-armed city STAFF mentality of, "us against them," against those bothersome humans...its about what the city govt's small minds can do to its powerless citizens acting with a complicit State Rep. So when powerless citizens contact Kidwell to ask 4help w a State matter, his office responds,saying that he cant help w this State issue, & within the body of that same letter he tells us that the city told his office, YOU have overgrown tree issues. Why the hell is a State Rep discussing such an issue? Furthermore, how is it to be interpreted? Is that a threat coming from Kidwell? Is it a kind of warning that says to the citizen, shut up or we can make life hard for u? I say it is a threat from both Kidwell's office & the City STAFF. And THAT is reason enough to retire Kidwell. He's callin on our people to resign, helpin others running 4 Mayor to fight the city, & all th while tellin senior citizens, you've got overgrown tree issues. What will happen to this VerySeniorCitizen now that this has been revealed? I hope the new Council is listening w both ears & an open heart. !Feeling like RoadKill in a small town and not safe in America.
