Governor Pat McCrory has selected Wendy Enochs of Greensboro to fill a vacant Court of Appeals seat. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge Martha Geer, who resigned on May 13, 2016. Enochs will serve the remainder of Judge Geer's term, which runs through December 31, 2016
