All voters count.

The only group for which the debate mattered was the small group of undecided and those who are weak supporters of one side or the other. From the focus groups of undecided voters run by liberal media organizations, the debate moved the needle among them significantly in Trump's favor. Among those voters, it was Harris who came across as nasty, without a plan, and not presidential. And those are the voters that count.

Both sides are pretty dug in. So what was the point of the debate?
KH has been called a lightweight and, for her, the point was to look presidential. Could she do that? Nobody knew. Now we know. Say what you want but Trump had his A$$ handed to him. We all saw him become mean, agitated, angry and emotionally out of control. The question you should ask, if that punk couldn’t manage KH, how the hell can he be president? Maybe it’s his age, maybe it’s because he never read a book, or maybe it’s because he believes the white nationalist crap he peddles. But any way you shake it, he came across as a spoiled child. And that should cost him the election.

All a logical person has to do is compare Trump's record with the miserable excuse of a record of Biden-Harris, and the choice is clear. And who in their right mind would vote for a woman who is essentially Hugo Chavez in a skirt running on Fidel Castro's favorite slogan "forward".

Do you really want to vote for a guy that you keep having to make excuses for? Girlie men, all of you.

Interesting. The liberal international news agency Reuters did a focus group of voters who were undecided going into the debate, and questioning them after watching the debate, 60% moved to supporting or leaning to Trump, 30% to supporting or leaning to Harris, and 10% remained undecided. Reasons for supporting Trump generally boiled down to prefering substance instead of fluff. www.breitbart.com
A survey of undecided voters by the very liberal New York Times found similar results.

Megyn Kelly, a veteran of national media and herself a former presidential debate moderator, takes ABC News and its moderators apart on the extreme bias of the moderators and the way they abused their positions for political reasons.

The current presidential debate model in the US is badly brodken. RNC started on the path to fix it, but the current RNC leadership dropped the ball. What we ought to do is go back to the gold standard of American political debates, the Lincoln - Douglas debates, where each candidate provided half the questions, not a sketchy media moderator. They also had no moderator at all, but maybe it would be wise to modify that to at least have a timekeeper to cut microphones on and off. Biased moderators have had way too much control of our presidential debates for years.

The financial markets do not like the perceived debate result. The dollar, US futures, and treasury bond yields are all dropping this morning.

Even the foreign media is picking up on how biased the moderators were in the debate last night. www.dailymail.co.uk
The highly polarized and politicized major American media should never have been considered to be a fair, honest, or objective source of moderation of a major political debate. Their history of blatant political bias is all too clear, and this campaign has been the worst in history for that bias. The moderators who were supposed to be neutral interjected themselves into the debate at least four times to dispute Trump, but never did so at all against Kamala Harris' parade of lies. That made the debate a three against one situation. One example concerned a moderator disputing Trump's comment on Haitian illegal aliens eating people's pets in Springfield, Ohio. The moderator cited an opinion of the city manager, who had a political agenda to defuse the controversy but no first hand knowledge. Trump on the other hand was citing eyewitness testimony. So the moderator interjected an opinion from someone with a political agenda against the eyemitness testimony cited by Trump. Another had to do with extreme late term abortions and children born alive. Trump cited the statement of a former Democrat governor of Virginia. He peobably should also have mentioned Gov. Tim Walz on that issue. Walx signed a bill to repeal his state's previous requirement that if a baby was born alvie in a botched abortion, the doctors had an obligation to try to save it. Walz signed off on ending that requirement. We will probably never know for sure if they gave the questions to Harris ahead of time. It sure looked like they may have. It was only bad luck for CNN that the smoking gun got revealed over their giving the questions ahead of time to Hillary Clinton. Major American media should never again be trused to moderate a presidential debate, but then they should not have been doing it this year, as it has been years since they had any semblence of fairness or objectivity.

The bias of the moderators was clear. It was like Pravda moderating a debate in the old Soviet Union. That woman moderator couldn't even disguise it, and you could frequwently see it in her face. And, yes, it did sound like Kamala Harris had the questions ahead of time.

The way the RNC handled the presidential debates is gross political malpractice. First Ronna McDaniel led a vote to abandon the Presidential Debate Commission, which has always tilted the process toward Democrats. So far so good. If RNC had followed through and started negotiations with the Democrats for debates, as they should have, they could have avoided Biden's sudden debate demands catching them flatfooted. After Romney left, her successors failed to follow through. If there had been debate negotiations underway, Biden could never have gotten away with his demand for that very early debate. He would have been wiped out in the first debate, BUT it would have been after the Democrat convention, tying their hands to do anything about it, and Trump would now be facing a demolished Biden and have a cakewalk to November. Instead, thanks to incompetence at RNC we have a competitive race.
