It would boost the economy to do the mass deportation. Most of the illegals are freeloaders who cost American taxpayers $150 Billion per year to subsidize them. Too many are criminals whose activities cost us in other ways, too. I have not seen a calculation on this in the US, but I doubt it is much different from Germany where 62% of welfare is paid to illegal aliens even though they make up only 14% of the population. In Sweden, they will pay them thousands of dollars to go home because that is cheaper for Swedish taxpayers than continuing to pay them welfare.
Who is paying for NOT having a wall? The American taxpayer.

It would tank the economy. He won’t do it. He may deport a few known criminals, which we would all agree von, but like Mexico paying for the wall, yer gonna be disappointed.
All part of the grift.

Is that your latest absurd far left talking point, Bolshevik Bob? IF so, it is dumb as a brick. Trump follows through on his campaign pledges, and that will especially be true for an issue where 60%+ of the American people agree with him.
Oh, I am sure there will be some lefties filing lawsuits to try to save the freeloading ilegal aliens and that might cause some delays, but there are lots of areas like illegal aliens with criminal convictions, where even that will not slow it down. Also, cutting off the funding that is subsiding the freeloaders may force them to go home. We have seen the problems liberal judges can cause in a recent situation in Italy. The Meloni government, following the example of Australia arranged a foreign location to send the illegal aliens to, in their case doing a deal with Albania. A leftwing judge blocked it, but now the Italian cabinet is working to remove that judge from office. That is the way to deal with such judges.

Prediction: if DT wins, there will be no mass deportations of anybody. You heard it here first.

Democrat county commission candidate Johnny Rodman and his wife have been heavily involved in the pro-amnesty for illegal aliens organization Beaufort County Indivisable, which is a local chapter of a national far left organization that also promotes defunding the police and no bail laws.

Big Bob: I don't believe you understand the whole voting paradigm in this Republic. The states elect their representatives and the president.
For example: Montgomery County, Maryland for one allows non citizens and Illegals to vote. This is one of the ways the Non Patriot Leftists cheat in these elections. I am surprised that someone as "wise" as yourself does not understand this, and all the other collusive efforts that Democratic Socialists employ to cheat in elections.

Kamala wants to give illegal aliens a pathway to citizenship while Trump wants to give them a pathway back home to their original countries through deportation. That is one of the biggest issues in this election.
After multiple polls showed a significant majority of Americans, 60% and more, favor mass deportation of illegal aliens, a Soros-funded leftwing group did a poll with a question designed to cut this number, by phrasing it as taking them into military camps to deport them. Still, even with that wording a plurality of 49% agreed with deportation.

It is statutoty law in North Carolina, and statutes can be repealed by a majority in the legislature. Putting it in the Constitution means that cannot be done. Plus there is one situation not covered by statutory law that is already being exploited in other states, and that is local governments including school boards allowing foreign citizens to vote in their local elections. This amendment closes that loophole.
Other states are taking this route, and given what the Democrats are trying to do with illegal immigration, it is very wise that NC do so as well.

Um it’s already the law. You have to be a citizen to vote. Every one knows that. A complete waste of time and money

Speaking of illegal aliens and Beaufort County...
I dont know if they are citizens or not, but Washington,NC now have people camping out on the sidewalk in front of Walmart during the day, and further down the sidewalk at night. Remember the broken window theory? If you dont fix it, it only gets worse for the neighborhood. Do we have loitering laws? Regarding parasites: Our Govts create human parasites by paying them to quit trying. Here in the USA, common sense in govt, has become uncommon.

I was blocked by three people when I went to vote who explained to me that the amendment for citizen ship was poorly written, and we needed to vote against it. These were all working from the Democrat Tent. They have a right to express their opinion and hand out material, but I was pushing my wife in a wheelchair, and they literally surrounded us and blocked our way while they made their pitch.

These aren't your father's Beaufort Democrats who had a bit more common sense. Liberal Commission candidate Johnny Rodman and his wife have been active in a local organization that supports illegal immigration called "Individable". Jason Williams is, by far, the most liberal judge we have ever had. He was appointed by Roy Coooper, who also appointed Allison Riggs, who had been co-executive directort of the estreme left Southern Coalition for Social Justice.
The Democrat Party is almost going Marxist. They are more Bernie Sanders Democrats than Bill Clinton Democrats.
