Bureaucrats believe they set policy for spending taxpayer dollars usurping the directions of elected officials.

Yes Hood; you are right. Until we get more and better representation from Real Republicans within the Beaufort County GOP, the public will continue to have bigger more expensive, and far less efficient government here in Beaufort County.

What happened with the school board member and the bus?

Washington is the CountySeat!
Why must we drive to Bath to participate in organizational meetings for GOP Party?
Why dont they at least rotate locations once in a while?

We need more participation by real Republicans in Beaufort County Republican precincts and the annual Republican County Convention. RINOs are like Democrats, they only show up for the important votes. Those votes happen at the County Convention.

Thank-you Commissioner Richardson for your explanation here.

I have always supported you, and Commissioner Deatherage when you two run for office, because I can trust you two mean what you say, say what you mean, and act accordingly.

I always wondered why the Beaufort County GOP party supported those commissioners that do not act as what I always thought all Republican elected folk were supposed to act.

And then there are the stories about this really big, gruff woman at the Beaufort County GOP HQ that kept telling regular folks that you and Commissioner Deatherage were RINOs, whenever you both ran in your respective campaigns for office, and I knew that was not right.

How can Republicans get so messed up in their thinking here in Beaufort County?

Who wants to write a book on:
"How to create a Cabal in a small local Government."

I'll help.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Does anyone here know any mystery writers? "Who Done It" authors?
Speak UP!

Mr. Butkus, The Beaufort County Republican Party has the same problems as the State and National Republican Parties. RINOs and liberal Republicans are in leadership positions. The Beaufort County Republican Party broke its back to support Randy Walker and his liberal wife in the 2024 elections. However, Beaufort County votes more than 60 percent MAGA conservative.
Consider the State party is supporting Whatley to replace RINO Tillis in the Senate Race. One RINO replacing another RINO.

Leadership changes will make a big dirrereence inthe RINO population.

It appears that we need an orientation program for elected officials. Especially the School Board and County Commission. Who is hired help, and who is running the asylum?

Since you are a "Concerned Taxpayer," I have this one question: Why are there so many elected RINOs in Beaufort County, and can real Republicans do about it?

Randy Walker and Frankie Waters pretended to leave the Democrat Party but their "switch" to "Republican" was as phony as a three dollar bill. They are both still tax and spend Democrats and a menace to Beaufort County taxpayers. They are poseurs who need to be removed from office.

Power drunk bureaucrats like our county manager (and city manager) need to be fired.
