primary voters reject Trohan House candidates

Big Bob: All smart people know that Non Patriot Leftists need public money to continue the corruption wheel rolling so that can keep their Democratic Socialist Party viable, so DO NOT believe that Right thinking people will every consider Leftists' comments regarding the national deficit, in a corrective sense, credible.

I wont stay but I will add:

The American SW, 101 in March - check

Conservative is not synonymous with stupid, but by any standard, from this administration, one would never know it.

Conservative Voter: Hussein Obama and Vegetable Biden considered Iran a valued ally, and that may be why they neglected Iran, unless it was to keep their Fascist regime afloat by giving them OUR money to sustain them as a murderous republic that believed they could depend on.

Most of what BS Bob is whining about involves necessary measures to deal with Democrat incompetence on the border and on Iran seeking nuclear weapons, and some temporary side effects of that. Iranian officials in their own boasting claimed to have enough 60$ enriched uranium to make ten nuclear bombs. Yes, it takes 90% enriched for a bomb but it only takes ten days to go from 60% to 90%. Trump had no choice but to act, and that was because of the failures of Obama and Biden to deal with Iran.

One year of Trumpo-

Middle East on fire - check
WWIII a real possibility - check
Billions spent on endless war - check
Prices through the roof - check
Diesel over 6 a gallon - check
Stock market down (a lot) - check
Access to health care restricted - check
Masked Secret police roaming the streets able to enter your house without a warrant - check
Social Security and Medicare on life support - check
Noem (fired) and Corey having an affair on the taxpayer dime - check
Keystone Kash flying is girlfriend around on government jets - check

Somebody explain to me a real conservative finds this acceptable?

Speaking of the Walkers, is their business kaput?? Driving down Main Street, I saw the building where it has been for decades since Randy's father started it, was vacant and their sign was down. There was no sign on the door saying they had moved anywhere else. I heard recently that Randy was now working security at ECU events, but did not r3eally relieve that until I saw the empty building where their business once was.

One has to remember the origin of the term "Fifth Column". General Franco during the Spanish Civil War once told a reporter "I have four columns marching on the city and a Fifth Column ready to rise up within it" Since then, the term "Fifth Column" has been a term for the enemy within. Carolyn and Randy Walker are part of the Fifth Column within the county Republican Party. They have adopted a Republican facade for show but at their core the y are still liberal Democrats.

Carolyn Walker not only has used this process of bringing Democrats into Republican primaries for her own benefit, she has also recently been active in the recruitment of these Democrats that have switched to Republican candidates in other school districts than her own. She and her husband were actively working in other school district primaries trying to defeat conservative Republicans. Have either one of these characters ever publicly badmouthed Democrats like they did several Republicans recently?

Didn't we just elect two of these teachers union people to our school board in Beaufort County? They appear to have infiltrated here.

I think a lot of our primaries would have come out differently if only Republicans were voting. We need to close our primaries. I wonder how many local Democrats temporarily switched to Unaffiliated to invade our primary? Carolyn Walker's campaign was actively encouraging that online in the last election. She probably would not have barely squeaked through the priamry if she had not engaged in that hanky panly.

We also need to worry about Big Ag sneaking in pro-amnesty big farmers into our legislative delegation. Exploiting illegal aliens for farm work is part of the business model of Big Ag.

Stan, with Travis' support and some hard work, I think you are well positioned for the general election. Your record of never voting for a tax increase should also resonate with voters this year.

While party organizations have traditionally worked to turn out voters in a general election, as the local GOP did in the last city election, that is rarely done in primaries. However with Democrats being pushed to temporarily register Unaffiliated to interfere in Republican primaries, it may not be a bad idea for party organizations to take a harder look at turning out registered Republicans in Republican primaries. Of course, the best bet would be to close our primaries altogether.

John Steed: I reiterate that my vote total for a Republican Primary was decent, and with Travis just 240 votes back, his vote total was decent too, and this was done without the Beaufort County GOP lifting a finger to drive voter turnout in an off year, weird time of the year primary.

The Unaffiliated voted in the Republican Primary for all seats, where candidates most resembled Democratic Socialists.

I wonder if we did not just see the same thing in our local school board races with a couple of retired teachers taking out two key conservative Republicans.

This is the very reason Republicans need to close our primary to Republican voters ONLY. This is not the first time this game has been played in our state. In fact, it was played in our own county by Carolyn Walker in her last school board election, and I heard rumblings it may have been played in one or two races here in the last primary.
