Of course, Little Bobbie would love NPR because its politically spins everything to his far left narrative. Since it gets taxpayer money, it should not be allowed to be so one-sided.

We have three unelected bureaucrats in this county that have way too much power - the school superintendant, the county manager, and the city manager -- amd they all need to be cut down to size, at minimum, and even better replaced. The county manager rules due to an incredible weak county commission chairman who keeps lots of information from the full county commission. The school superintendant has not only a very eaak chairman, but a majority of the board are weak. The city manager is the flunky for Mayor Sadler, but may not even let Sadler know everything he is doing. Sadler, like Cheeseman, is a control freak. Our county would be a lot better off if all three of those bureaucrats were gone tomorrow.

The city does offer some strong candidates who will look out for the taxpayers such as Bobby Roberson, Tex Melton, and Gary Ceres. William Pitt and Lisa Peyton-Jones are also worth considering. Pitt stood up against Sadler's tax increase, and Jones at least talks right on those issues.

But we need out elected officials to do their jobs and not let the unelected bureaucrats have control. -

I have a legitimate question, as I have not done a lot of research into this topic in our county. How will this affect the staffing level, which Dr. Cheeseman controls, for schools? For example, transfers are being denied for students to attend Bath because their classrooms are full. Will this affect families who live in the district? Will they still be able to send their children to the school in their district without having over crowded classrooms and understaffed schools? It is no secret that Bath Elementary is considered the best "private-public school". As long as this doesn't affect the quality of education in a negative manner, I am all for it. If you live out of the district, will you be tasked with providing transportation or will transportation be provided? Will Dr. Cheeseman still have the ability to pick and choose to what level he staffs a school and which classes he chooses to get rid of if school choice passes?.....

Continued..... If Dr. Cheeseman can give and take funding as he chooses, which he has been doing. it is going to be difficult for individual schools to be able to put in place classes, learning techniques, curriculum, clubs, etc that make their school desirable to kids and parents outside of their district. Dr. Cheeseman needs his reigns tightened before this is put in place. Or else the schools that they want to succeed will be the ones receiving the funding to do so. Yes, funding is based on population in the school. But that money goes to the school board to allocate and that board is run at the demands of Dr. Cheeseman.

Its election time again, but it doesnt matter who we elect because the only thing that will change is the flavor of the corruption.

As long as we have a corrupt self-serving City Manager, the local corruption will continue. (Anyone checked his bank acct?)

Why is no one ever held accountable?
Because here and there, the people in govt, that are holding the dirt over each other, would rather hold it in secret, so that dirt can be weaponized to control each other, and silence each other.
The manager controls all the incoming info, and can keep that knowledge from the elected ones, so that they can claim "plausible deniability." Dem or GOP... it is the system.
The campaigners keep promising change and never deliver. They blame others. You all know this is true. I exclude Trump... he tried and is still trying to do the right things for WeThePpl. He is practically a martyr for the nation. God Bless Trump.

Also of concern is Mayorkas at Homeland Security defending one of his staff who works on asylum requests who posted on social media "Freed Palestine" with a graphic of terrorists riding in on paragliders with machine guns. What is such a person doing working in Homeland Security, especially on asylum matters. One womders how many Muslim terrorists he has let in? And that traitor Mayorkas defends him?

"Benedict Arnold" Biden has given the Taliban $11 Billion in US taxpayer money since they took over Afghanistan and now wants to give a lot of money to the Hamas terrorist state in Gaza. That is not to mention the billions he has handed to the rabidly anti-American Islamo-fascist regime in Iran.

NPR should stand for Neo-leftist Progressive Radio. It is as partisan propaganda source akin to Radio Moscow of the Stalin era or Putin era for that matter. Ultra left wing, and they do propaganda, not journalism.

The existance of any "loans" here do not track with Biden's tax filings. I am sure the House investigators will supoena any records from these folks that would document the existance of any real "loans" and will find none.

It would not surprise me to see Biden's corrupt DOJ try to investigate the Congressional investigators, just like they have been caught doing in a fishing expedition against GOP Congressional investigators who were exposing the Democrats' Trump / Russia hoax

What you have is the repayment of a loan. Yawn.
Stan, just pointing out, when you say it 7 times in one post, it makes you sound weird. A good insult is clever, pithy, and to the point.
BTW - if you want it to be actually true, you need to say it 3 times and click your heels.

All politicians Must reassess their position of all NGOs, where some are valuable, but most are special interest funding schemes.

We need Trump back so he can start deporting the illegal aliens here in America. The NGOs that train illegal aliens to falsely claim asylum need to be prosecuted undere RICO for conspiracy to violate our immigration laws. Trump has already pledged mass deportation.

Biden, Mayorkas, and the others responsible for the undermining of our immigration laws should all be charged with high treason and the death penalty sought.

What you have there is a smoking gun. The Democrats in the Senate care more about their far left politics than about integrity in government, so conviction of impeachment won't happen, but Biden should be impeached for his crimes anyway so the public can get a full view of his corruption.

They may get Biden like they got Al Capone, through his taxes. He apparently did not report his Chinese payola on his taxes, as a "loan" or as anthing else. However, given the corruption at the DOJ exposed with Hunter Biden's crimes, that will have to wait until we have an honest president, something we do not have now.

The American system of justice is so screwed up when we can have political nothingbergers trumped up against Trump to try to destroy him, and the Biden Crime Family gets away with major corruption because of a corrupt and politicized DOJ and FBI.
