What keeps McConnel in power in the Senate is the huge slush fund of money that cones into the Senate PAC from special interests and lobbyists. Yes Virginia, government is for sale. We need an honorable person who does not have the same character flaws as McConnell to lead the Senate. That PAC should not be controlled by the Senate Leaader.

McConnell is functionally a Dmeocrat, not a Republican, and the sooner he can be removed as GOP Senate leader, the sooner we can get to work on getting a Senate majority back. McConnell always tries to screw conservatives in both primaries and general elections, as he did in 2022. NEVER MCCONNELL. Our NC legislative leaders Berger and Moore are, indeed, just as bad as they just proved with the Obamacare Medicaid expannsion. The Democrats have a "Fifth Column" among the "GOP leadership" in the US Senate and the NC General Assembly. Many of us were wary of McCarthy due to his past, but he has stepped up and become a real Republican leader, unlike McConnell, Berger, and Moore.

The globalist eco-fascists are trying to cut our food resources with these draconian farming rules. They conned Sri Lanka into doing it first and they wrecked their agriculture sector as a result, almost becoming a failed state in the process. They are now going through the EU to con European countries into this nonsense. The Netherlands is one of the top food exporters in the world, so this matters to lots of people in addition to themselves. The eco-fascists want us to eat bugs and worms. I say feed THEM to the worms.

Seems this "senators" oath to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies was meaningless. What she is wanting is in direct violation of the US Constitution.
First Amendment Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The attacks on free speech are the most serious attacks on democracy in the western world, and serious attacks on free speech are occuring in the US from the Democrats, and in Canada and Europe from the left. Free speech is the very fundamental building block of democracy. Without it, you do not have a democratic government.

I wish Phil Berger and Tim Moore would act like Republicans for a change. Every time I turn around they are behaving like Democrats, doing Roy Cooper's bidding. What is the point of having a Republican legislature when their "leadership" is always leading them over to the Democrat side? Obamacare Medicaid expansion, partial marijuana legalization, gambling, the Green New Deal, men allowed in the ladies room, etc - we are just sick of it!

Those "puberty blockers" are the very same drugs used for chemical castration of rapists. What right thinking person would ever con children into taking them? The ACLU complains about the dangers of these drugs when given to rapists but demands they be given to children at their whim. They are extremely profitable for pharmaceutical companies and the second biggest profit center after abortions for Planned Parenthood.

You are right on the fact that horrible things have been done in the name of deity. Huge amounts of money have been misdirected in the name of Black Lives Matter and others. After all, one-third of the host of heaven was cast into the earth as un-embodied spirits. If you like you are free to hang around with them. However, much good has been done in the real name of deity and the fact that you are free to spout your beliefs is one of them. How about the efforts of Missions and missionaries and the huge amount of dollars that are contributed by churches and organizations for the hungry, homeless, and forgotten? And they will even let you in.
