    Henry William "BUD" Rouse Jr. of 111 Metro Court, Washington, NC died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 5,2014 at Metropolitan AME Zion Church, 102 West Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military rites.

    Henry was born to the late Henry Wi11iam,Sr & Martha Reddick Rouse. He was a graduate of East Carolina University and served 4 years in the Air Force.

    Henry was married to Hazel Marie Smaw. He served tirelessly 30-plus years as an instructor for West Craven High School. He was also computer expert and licensed electrician.

    Henry was a life-long member of Metropolitan where he served in numerous positions and committees/boards including: Church Clerk, Trustee, Quarterly Conference as Leader of Leaders, Pastor's Appreciation, Live Circle, Men's Day Chair, and Vice-Chair of Metropolitan Community Health Services.

    Survivors: His wife, Hazel S. Rouse of the home; his children: Shave11a Jones, Raleigh, NC, Avaion White, Henry Rouse, III, Kahli1 White, Tauvon White, all of Washington, NC, and Kareem Rouse of Baltimore, MD.; His siblings: Brenda Richards and Keisha Bonner both of Washington, NC, Margretta Briley of Baltimore, MD, Elaine Johnson, High Point, NC, Tony Rouse of Ra1eigh,NC, William Rouse, Chocowinity, NC, Sidney Rouse, Washington, NC and 12 grandchildren.

    Visitation on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at LR Randolph Memorial Chapel from 3:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Other times at the home.
