Lloyd Harold Jordan Jr., age 66, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 27th.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2026, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Born in Plymouth, North Carolina, Lloyd was the son of Jeanette Jordan and the late Lloyd Jordan Sr. He spent most of his life in Plymouth and Greenville before building a home in Chocowinity, North Carolina, where he continued to make lasting memories with family, friends, and neighbors.

Once a Pirate, always a Pirate, Lloyd was a proud graduate of East Carolina University and carried that Pirate spirit throughout his life. He served as CEO of Carolina Donor Services, dedicating himself to his work and the people he served. Following his retirement, Lloyd continued his passion for his craft as a Certified Public Accountant, operating a private tax practice. Through his work, he built many lifelong friendships, both personally and professionally. He genuinely valued and appreciated his clients, many of whom became much more than clients over the years.

At just 17 years old, Lloyd met the love of his life, Patti. Their love was unmatched. They built a life together filled with love, commitment, and countless memories. Their life was one to be proud of, rooted in a bond that remained a beautiful part of who Lloyd was.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Jordan Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patti Jordan; his mother, Jeanette Jordan; his sister, Gwen Hufton, and her husband, Gary; his brother, Eugene Jordan; his son, Trey Jordan, and daughter-in-law, Jessie; and his cherished grandsons, Beau and Brody Jordan. He is also survived by his niece, Jessica and nephew, Thomas and dear friends who were more like family.

Lloyd was genuine, hardworking, determined, and motivated, with a wonderful sense of humor and a natural gift for making people laugh. He was the kind of person who left an impression on everyone he met, whether through his quick wit, his generous spirit, or the friendships he worked so hard to maintain. He believed in working hard and enjoying the people and moments that made life special.

Lloyd loved to travel, fish, hunt, spend time with his beloved Goldendoodle, Savannah, and visit with his neighbors in Beaufort Pointe. He cherished the simple pleasures of life and the company of those around him. But above all else, the absolute apples of his eye were his two grandsons, Beau and Brody Jordan. Affectionately known as "Rooster" to his grandsons, Lloyd took immense pride and joy in being their grandfather. They held a special place in his heart, and the love he had for them was immeasurable.

There is no doubt that Lloyd was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by so many. His life was defined by the relationships he nurtured, the hard work he devoted himself to, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends.

Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy will live on through the memories he created and the love he leaves behind. Most of all, he will live on in the hearts of Patti, Trey, Beau, Brody, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Lloyd's story does not end here. It continues in every shared memory and every moment his family gathers to remember the man who meant so much to them.

    Forever loved, never forgotten.

Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is honored to serve the Jordan family.
