    Beaufort County Community College students, faculty and staff got a first-hand look at advanced manufacturing processes earlier this week during a tour of the Washington plant operated by PAS USA Inc. The company performs injection molding and in-house finishing, using state-of-the art decoration technology and assembles a range of component parts for the home appliance industry.

Pictured above, Paul Mattocks, PAS USA Inc. production manager Assembly/Decoration departments, shows an example of a part that was recently assembled and decorated at the plant. The tour was part of a week-long series of events at BCCC celebrating advanced manufacturing.

The Cannon Foundation awarded $95,000 to Beaufort County Community College to replace its deteriorating heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system in its Advanced Manufacturing Building.
