    The US Supreme Court is acting incredibly sensible these days. One of their latest decisions, the Hobby Lobby case, offered up some protections for employers dealing with the ObamaCare atrocity being shoved down their throats. The court said, under the First Amendment, employers actually have the right to refuse to pay for things under ObamaCare that they find morally objectionable. (I actually read about one case where the Obama Administration was forcing a convent full of nuns to buy health insurance that included abortion and other birth control options.)

    Of course, the concept of taking power from the government and giving it to the citizenry made the left even more b@t$h!t crazy.

    US Senator Kay Hagan — Queen of the Leftists — bellowed her outrage to any and all within earshot:

    [...] "I am extremely disappointed in today's Supreme Court decision. It is shameful that a woman's access to contraception is even up for debate in the year 2014. The choice about whether to use birth control should be between a woman and her doctor, not her boss, and no employer should be allowed to interfere with a woman's access to contraception.

    "The contrast on women's health in North Carolina could not be clearer today as the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby decision allows some employers to interfere in women's access to health care," Hagan's campaign said in a news release.

    "While Kay opposed an amendment that would let employers interfere with access to health care for their employees, Thom Tillis believes that it's acceptable to let corporations and employers interfere with contraceptive access for their female employees." [...]

    So, birth control was unaffordable and hard to find before you and your fellow slugs blessed us with ObamaCare? Where is the outrage about ObamaCare restricting our choices in obtaining affordable health insurance that best suits our needs?

    Health insurance is a value-added option that employers offer to make working for them seem a little more attractive. Hagan and her fellow statists elevated it to the level of, say, oxygen or 30-minute lunch breaks.

    Health insurance gets more expensive every time Senator Battle-axe and her minions sink their claws into it. Mandates add costs to health insurance and all kinds of other things. This decision offers a grand opportunity for the Republicans to hit Hagan on ObamaCare and job-killing governmental overreach. Here's what GOP nominee Thom Tillis had to say about the decision:

    "[...] Tillis called it a victory,[...]"

    Seriously. THAT'S IT. I checked his campaign web site:

    "Today, the Supreme Court made a strong stand in two cases for important First Amendment freedoms – the right to not be forced to pay union dues and the right to religious freedom. Although today was a loss for Kay Hagan, Barack Obama, and the Washington bureaucrats who want to run our lives, the American people are the clear winners."

    Sure doesn't sound to me like a declaration of war on ObamaCare.
