    Good Morning:

Secondary Roads are extremely icy this morning, with Primary roads having slick spots on them. The NWS has extended the Winter Storm Warning for Beaufort County until 4:00pm today. We are beginning to receive notifications of power outages in the Aurora Area and all counties surrounding Beaufort county. Tree limbs heavy from ice have begun falling as wind gust up to eighteen miles per hour are being reported. Traffic has started picking up on our roadways and it is just a matter of time before the traffic accidents begin this morning. First Responders should use extreme caution when responding and maintain good vigilance at accident scenes and provide early warning to traffic moving towards accident scenes.

More updates to follow, however, please stay aware of the ice and falling objects as you venture out this morning.
