Learn To Paddle Board With BCCC | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Paddle boarding is a great way to enjoy all of the water in the region. To help you learn this new sport, The Division of Continuing Education at Beaufort County Community College is offer a workshop this spring in paddle boarding.

    The workshop will be held 6 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays beginning June 1 and ending June 15 at Inner Banks Outfitters, 1050 E. Main St, Washington. The cost of the workshop includes a $90 registration fee and a $1.25 insurance fee. All equipment is included.

    Instructor Liane Harsh of Inner Banks Outfitters will lead participants in three sessions of paddle boarding with the last session including a field trip down the Pamlico River.

    Students may register by calling 252-940-6375 or in person in room 802 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus. BCCC accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
