News Release:

    Good Evening Everybody:

We have more good news as it relates to Major Hurricane Joaquin as the track has moved further east and Beaufort County is no longer in the Cone of Uncertainty. With that information there will not be a meeting tomorrow night, Friday, with Fire Chief and EMS Captains. Additionally there is not a need for a meeting with the EOC Support Group tomorrow at 11:15am for the EOC Support Group for Hurricane preparation and planning.

Let me please remind everybody that we are still in a Flood Watch and flooding is very likely in our low lying areas. We will still have some impact from the Joaquin possible Sunday or Monday in the way of more rain and higher than normal tides..

Government and its bureaucracy are not perfect, and never has been in this self-governed society, here at the local level, at our state level, and at our federal level, therefore, it is incumbent upon all elected politicians to seek a comfortable level of representation for our constituents.
Beaufort County is implementing a new emergency alert system. All residents are encouraged to sign up to receive alerts via phone and email.

However, if one believes that Beaufort County government is in full command of the issues of our times, here locally, one might need to steel their resolve for a more perfect understanding of the intellect possessed by the Center-Left /Left Coalition.
To borrow a big phrase from this salient plan originating at the federal level, under President Trump's watchful eye, whose time has finally arrived, even here in the mispent realm of Beaufort County government(s).
We must vet, and elect those who will actually represent the people or we will be stuck with the same mess we have now.
