Donald Chandler II
    On 03-10-2016, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Donald Wayne Chandler II, 37 years of age, of 305 Azalea Drive in Washington. Chandler was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana Wax a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Manufacturing Marijuana Wax a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Storing, Manufacturing and Selling a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

    Chandler's arrest stemmed from Investigators executing a search warrant at Chandler's residence located a 305 Azalea Drive in Washington. Investigators found 595 grams of high grade marijuana, 327 grams of Marijuana Wax/Butter (THC), ingredients and materials used to Manufacture Marijuana Wax, an inoperable inside marijuana grow and $2,319.00.


    High grade marijuana sells for $20.00 a gram on the street. Marijuana Wax/Butter sells at $10.00 a gram and depending on the quality it could sell for $70.00 a gram. The total estimated street value of the seized drugs is $15,170.00. The marijuana butter is used to make marijuana edibles. The marijuana wax is used to smoke.


    Chandler was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $25,000.00 secured bond.
