We will see if the Truman effect works this year. He also had a problem with Political Correctness. One of my friends posted a meme on Facebook. I just wish I had a speed bump between my brain and my mouth. I don't know if he was hinting or just passing along a thought. I get quite a few of those hints.
Once, the story goes, Harry Truman was talking about farming and explaining the role of manure on soil. ''You should tell the president to say fertilizer,'' a friend told Mrs. Truman. And Mrs. Truman replied: ''You don't know how long it took me to get him to say manure.'' |

I know it has been said it many times before, and I recognized this fact very early back during the primary when I was supporting a whole bunch of Republicans other than Trump. That fact is this real Americans, the ones that that make stuff work, do the paying with their blood seat and toil, and the dying for our nation's defense are pissed real hard, and The Donald has tapped into that rich vein of a very real patriotic anger.
If Trump loses because there are not enough of us, know this: That anger will not just go away, it will not be absorbed into the fabric of gleeful socialism that is the world of today's vapid Liberal. It will simmer in to a movement, and these people will not go away, and they will not change, and at some point, they will take their Republic back, or what is left of it. |

Great post Stan.
As usual, you hit the nail on the head. The upcoming election is about policy for some, but for others it's about saving our republic. There are people who don't necessarily like Trump but are voting for him because he's the one who'll save our country. I personally have been aboard the Trump train since its departure, lol. I can't stand it when people say "I refuse to 'vote for the lesser of two evils,'" and then proclaim their support for Johnson or Stein. There's more at stake than they understand, and instead of swallowing their pride, they're trying to make a public statement. The single issue I've heard brought up more than others is the fact that Trump has "bounced back and forth" on certain political issues. But he isn't going back and forth. He's changed some political views, yes, but the change took place years ago, concerning abortion, and his views on Planned Parenthood are, in my opinion, to moderate, but he still calls to defund the organization and that's all I'm asking for as a voter. The criteria for becoming POTUS should be more than just attitude and personality. People don't like him. That's fine. But as Bobby said below, he's taking our country in the opposite direction as Hillary Clinton, and that's important to me. |

Great comment Bobby Tony.
Lying Hillary does have one other direction; a straight vector to the point where she is personally enhance, enriched, and she will lie, cheat, steal and kill to get it. That Lying Hillary would sell off chunks of our nation to so is just acceptable collateral damage for the Clintons, and other non patriot core Democrats and RINOs. If Lying Hillary is the template for all future women presidents, I say that I am done with these bigoted Feminazis. Either these women that would vote for this corrupt bitch are either egregiously stupid, or are as dangerous of female predator as L. Hillary is. We are raising generations of praying mantises. |

It is remarkable that the Democrat party ever had presidents like Truman and Kennedy.
Seeing Bill Clinton again reminds me why I can't stand the guy. He lies so well, i think he convinces himself that the lie may may be true.
