Donald Trump's Temperament to be Commander-in-Chief | Eastern North Carolina Now

Does Donald J. Trump truly have the temperament to be President of these States United?

Possibly not so much to some people's elitist tastes, however, I proffer another series of questions:

Is Donald J. Trump a pathological liar?

Does he sell access to America's power, for personal gain, to misogynistic, bigoted, racist regimes?

Has Donald J, Trump ever destroyed the public record (obstruction of Justice), a public record improperly and illegally maintained to evade detection for felonious activities against his nation for personal gain?

Did Donald J. Trump ever leave over 30 Americans, poorly defended by his intent, to die in a foreign nation, so that his secrets would die with them?

Once again, is Donald J. Trump a pathological liar?

Does Donald J. Trump promise to sell an extra-eased path to citizenship to illegal aliens, to suck on the public teat (that some of you actually pay for) of the welfare and Education Industries, providing that they vote Republican?

Does Donald J. Trump promote a failed Socialized medicine plan built on a continuum on Obama lies, and pledges to continue it?

Does Donald J. Trump promise to add more partisan Democrat justices to the Supreme Court to hasten the deaths of more fetuses, allow Democrat presidents to usurp the originally prescribed power of congress, and basically do the bidding of Liberals with no true intellectual consideration as to the Constitution's original intent?

Is Donald J. Trump a proved traitor?

There is a math to this issue of running for president:

If you have ever considered yourself a Republican or an Independent and you sit out this election, or vote for someone who has no chance to win, you have then cast a one half vote for Lying Hillary Clinton, a proved traitor.

There is a simple math to this whole equation of the suitability or temperament of Donald J. Trump, and I don't make the rules here. Math is a pure science and it stands on its own.

I don't like Trump as my first choice, far from it; however, I don't like Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and don't much care for Mitt Romney right now, or even John McCain ever.

Yet, I voted for John McCain in 2008, I voted for Mitt Romney in 2012, and I would have vote for Jeb or Lindsay now, Mitt and John again should they be the nominee.

Why? I understand the math, and I am a patriot.

It is that simple. It is also true that our nation may not survive another presidency of a lying, corrupt Socialist of limited intelligence and honest experience.

Good one.

It is remarkable that the Democrat party ever had presidents like Truman and Kennedy.

Seeing Bill Clinton again reminds me why I can't stand the guy. He lies so well, i think he convinces himself that the lie may may be true.

We will see if the Truman effect works this year. He also had a problem with Political Correctness. One of my friends posted a meme on Facebook. I just wish I had a speed bump between my brain and my mouth. I don't know if he was hinting or just passing along a thought. I get quite a few of those hints.

Once, the story goes, Harry Truman was talking about farming and explaining the role of manure on soil.

''You should tell the president to say fertilizer,'' a friend told Mrs. Truman.

And Mrs. Truman replied: ''You don't know how long it took me to get him to say manure.''

I know it has been said it many times before, and I recognized this fact very early back during the primary when I was supporting a whole bunch of Republicans other than Trump. That fact is this real Americans, the ones that that make stuff work, do the paying with their blood seat and toil, and the dying for our nation's defense are pissed real hard, and The Donald has tapped into that rich vein of a very real patriotic anger.

If Trump loses because there are not enough of us, know this: That anger will not just go away, it will not be absorbed into the fabric of gleeful socialism that is the world of today's vapid Liberal.

It will simmer in to a movement, and these people will not go away, and they will not change, and at some point, they will take their Republic back, or what is left of it.

Great post Stan.

As usual, you hit the nail on the head.

The upcoming election is about policy for some, but for others it's about saving our republic. There are people who don't necessarily like Trump but are voting for him because he's the one who'll save our country.

I personally have been aboard the Trump train since its departure, lol.

I can't stand it when people say "I refuse to 'vote for the lesser of two evils,'" and then proclaim their support for Johnson or Stein. There's more at stake than they understand, and instead of swallowing their pride, they're trying to make a public statement.

The single issue I've heard brought up more than others is the fact that Trump has "bounced back and forth" on certain political issues. But he isn't going back and forth. He's changed some political views, yes, but the change took place years ago, concerning abortion, and his views on Planned Parenthood are, in my opinion, to moderate, but he still calls to defund the organization and that's all I'm asking for as a voter.

The criteria for becoming POTUS should be more than just attitude and personality. People don't like him. That's fine. But as Bobby said below, he's taking our country in the opposite direction as Hillary Clinton, and that's important to me.

Great comment Bobby Tony.

Lying Hillary does have one other direction; a straight vector to the point where she is personally enhance, enriched, and she will lie, cheat, steal and kill to get it.

That Lying Hillary would sell off chunks of our nation to so is just acceptable collateral damage for the Clintons, and other non patriot core Democrats and RINOs.

If Lying Hillary is the template for all future women presidents, I say that I am done with these bigoted Feminazis. Either these women that would vote for this corrupt bitch are either egregiously stupid, or are as dangerous of female predator as L. Hillary is.

We are raising generations of praying mantises.

Stan, I think we are at the train station waiting for two trains. Both of them are going in opposite directions.

Donald Trump is an alpha-male, which irritates the hell out of all the Gender-Phobic liberals and the Milquetoast republicans, but the argument now is not about temperament, style, qualifications or personality. It is about policy and where each candidate will take this country. Donald has quite a few question marks on his compass but at least it is pointed in a direction that I tend to agree with.

Hillary on the other hand has only one azimuth on her compass, Socialism.
