    Please note AOP will be closed on December 25 & Monday as usual. Bring your family & visitors by for a visit & tour when AOP reopens on December 27 at 10 AM.

    Stop by AOP to pick up an AOP Gift Certificate. Shop artist's paintings, art & crafts, buy a Washington print by Jeff Jakubs, pick up a handcrafted card,

    select a Christmas ornament or two off the trees, purchase event tickets & more!

Embers Christmas Concert - December 23, 7:30 PM


    Lead sponsors PotashCorp & Lee Chevrolet/Buick are bringing the Embers Christmas Concert to the Historic Turnage Theatre tonight! Just 30 more tickets will be sold!

    Ticket holders will get to try out AOP's new dance floor in the theater! Thank you to our ticket sponsors including First South Bank & Keech & Company PA & individual patrons for sponsoring a pizza party with the band for their guests. Sponsors may arrive at 6:30 PM with pre-seating for the party with the band. Tickets purchased over the phone or online may be picked up today or outside the theatre at the Will Call Table this evening. Concert doors open at 7 PM for general admission seating. Beverages & popcorn for sale during the event.

Guitarfest - January 7, 2017


    The free annual BCTMA GuitarFest kicks off with photo exhibit in the Art Cafe on January 7, 2017 at 2 PM followed by the first band at 2:30 PM. Nine acts will perform music from jazz, blues, rock, top 40, country throughout the day into the evening. Come and go when you like. Details on acts coming soon! All guitar players will jam at the end until 10 PM in the Gallery.

    AOP's Glass Tulip Film Festival submission opens January 2!

New Children & Youth Playwriting Festival in the New Year!


    A celebration of the creative works of children and youth. Fee is $10. Up to 30 children and youth grades 1 - 12 are invited to submit original works. The original works may be a scene or full length one-act play. Email works by email no later than January 13 at 5 PM to dylan.ritch@artsofthepamlico.org.
