Press Release:

Greenville, N.C.     MOXIE POP is a pop-up studio, gallery and event space for art, wellness, and dining. Owner Kelly Boutilier says it will open May 2.

"We strive to offer our community a unique space for pop-up events at an affordable price," Kelly says. MOXIE POP is a small space, but has huge potential. The 330 square foot space located at 106 E. Fourth Street can easily convert into a venue for any small group event including art shows, business meetings, trunk shows, birthday and graduation celebrations, wine tastings, hair shows, independent film showings, poetry readings, book releases and acoustic acts- the list goes on and on! The room seats up to 14 guests for dining, with standing room for approximately 25, and can also be divided into six small booth spaces for pop-up market events.

Moxie Pop is located near the Boutilier family's Starlight Café on Fifth Street and can serve as a private dining lounge for the restaurant. Kelly's husband, Starlight Cafe executive chef Tobias Boutilier, will cater events and offer private buffet dinners, Sunday brunches or catered wellness events in the space.

Kelly, a graduate of East Carolina University and registered yoga teacher, formerly owned the Uptown Greenville boutique Moxie Clothing -- so the name MOXIE POP was a no-brainer. "I think a lot of people still remember and miss MoxieClothing, so I wanted to keep the name," she says. And MOXIE YOGA will be a regular featured POP at the studio, offering classes weekly along with pop-up workshops.
