Two nursing students at Beaufort County Community College were celebrated during the nurse pinning ceremony in May with an award from the DAISY Foundation.
Thanks to a donation from the Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors to the Beaufort County Community College Foundation, students interested in trades related to housing, including HVAC technician and residential wiring, will have new access to classes.

A group of eight students took a big step as they received their GED or high school equivalency (HSE) diplomas from Beaufort County Community College on June 9.
Since 1998, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has helped neighborhoods and communities set up Community Watch groups.
BCCC named the Lisa Long Lecture Hall in honor of the sister of Dr. Laura Staton, the current board chair of the BCCC Foundation.
Students may start out with a clear vision of what program they want to pursue, but through experience in their classes they find out that another program is more geared to their strengths.
Beaufort County Community College will hold information sessions for prospective students interested in its new boat building program for Fall 2021.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators receiving Crime Stopper complaints and complaints from concerned citizens.
