Charles Colie Clark, Jr.: Born June 11, 1986, died March 18, 2012 | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Charles Colie Clark, Jr, age 25, a resident of Hwy 99 South, Bath, NC, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 as a result of injuries received in an accident. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Dunn Family Cemetery, Falkland, NC , officiated by Billy Peed. Kyle Alligood, Benji Brooks, Rumley Everett, Phillip Hassell, Stephen Oden and Jared Sink will serve as pallbearers. Harris Clark, Jordan Clark, Hunter Dunn, Ron Dunn, Tyler Dunn and Joe Hobbs will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations and other times at the home. The family will travel in procession to the cemetery following the visitation.

    Charles was born June 11, 1986 in Pitt County son of Charles Colie Clark and Shirley Jean Dunn Clark. He graduated from Northside High School in 2004 and Pitt Community College in 2007 with a degree in Building Construction Technology. Charles worked in the family business as a logger with Nifong Construction Co. On October 4, 2008 he was married to Misty Leigh Nifong. Charles loved to be outdoors fishing and hunting. He had a very outgoing personality and loved to spend time with his friends. Charles was a loving son - the best son anyone could have.

    In addition to his parents and his wife he is survived by his sister, Crissie Clark Woolard of Greenville, his grandmother, Ruby Dunn of Ayden, his in-laws, Kim and Carroll Nifong of Fairfield, sister-in-law Shawna Martin and husband Troy and of Greenville, nieces Jordan Woolard and Riley Woolard both of Greenville, and best friends Brad and Rebecca Cahoon and children Cole and Colin of Belhaven.
