  • Jim (Beaufort County Health Director Jim Madson) says they were just notified that a patient tested by a private health provider has come back positive. The patient is a Beaufort County resident who had traveled out of state recently. The patient is isolated at home. They will be sending out a press release shortly.

The Coronavirus is here in Beaufort County, but I have this one thought, and I pray that all will be receptive to it: Show some restraint in not losing one's wits or dignity, while exhibiting a generous helping of grace, and common sense in dealing with this crisis that is being blown far out of proportion relative to its danger to the general population.

For all information regarding the Coronavirus from all sources under all categories pertaining to humankind, which is great here on BCN, can all be found here.
