The Democrats last week held a press conference where they all did a kneeling routine to promote the radical racist group Black Lives Matter, and did so wearing a symbol of a slave trading empire in Africa, so called Kente cloth. Pelosi (who had a hard time standing up) and Shumer were among them.

Kente cloth is the symbol of the aristocracy of the Ashanti empire from the 17th century onward. The Ashanti used slaves themselves in their gold fields and were one of the largest sources of slaves for European and New England slave traders. Their slaves were captured in battle with weaker tribes, and they often exchanged slaves for firearms with slave traders, which they then used to capture more slaves.

Imagine if a group of Republican leaders had worn something like that.

Even USA Today, a liberal rag, had a "fact checker" confirm what Kente cloth represents.
