Most people live for today, maybe for the week in some cases, but hardly anyone lives today in anticipation of the future, even for six months ahead. We tend to leave the future to chance, or at least to others to worry about. In fact, however, there are those who do focus on the future...near term, mid-term (5 to 20 years) and longterm. It would appear that most of these futurists are very rich, perhaps because they invest for the future or were lucky. Few people who depend on a salary, paycheck to paycheck, are among that group that plans for the future based on current conditions or trends.

Consider, for example, the reporting of news. Used to be that all the news most people knew was the thirty-minute nightly news. Even though there is a quantum amount of information available these days that was not available when Walter Cronkite reported "that's the way it is (tonight)..." the news still is limited to a minute amount of the information that could be reported.

So, what does this mean? It means that our future is either shaped by accident and we simply respond or there is a "force" somewhere that decides what is going to happen. Pause here to ponder that statement. Not all that long ago the futurists simply predicted what was likely to happen. There "model" was to track trends. But today there is a group that is actively attempting to control what will happen in the future.

Who are these Wizards Behind the Curtain that are putting great effort and money into shaping the future to their liking? The following will give you some clues:

  • In this report we will be taking a glimpse of what the not-too-distant future may look like. Yes, some of this will be speculation, but it is speculation projecting forward based on the facts we have today.
