A new poll released by Cardinal Point Analytics shows the races in North Carolina for both President and Governor to be very close, both within the margin of error.. The poll conducted July 13-15 shows Trump with a 1 point lead over Biden, Cooper with a 2.5 point lead over Forest, and Cunningham with a 3 point lead over Tillis.

These numbers are particularly encouraging for Forest who is demonstrating a lot of momentum against Cooper and has almost closed the gap against an incumbent who started off with much better name recognition. The numbers also reflect well on President Trump's campaign. They are less positive for Tillis, who as an incumbent is not running as well as he should.

McConnell rammed Tillis down our throats as nominee and now we may lose our GOP Senate majority over that bit of nonsense. Tillis has polled as the least popular Senator with home state voters in the entire US Senate.
