Ohio State House Speaker Larry Householder, a key founder of the natioinal Never Trump organization, and former Ohio GOP chairman Matt Borges, now a top political consultant for the Never Trumpers, have been arrested by the FBI in a major bribery scandal in which they were allegedly given $60 million by utility interests to push legislation to add new fees to all utility bills in the state. Both Householder and Borges are longtime allies of liberal former Ohio Governor John Kassich. It was Borges who apparently negotiated the bribe to Householder.

If anyone doubted how swampy the Never Trumpers are, this should end those doubts.

Illinois House Speaker Madigan, a liberal Democrat, has also recently been arrested by the FBI for bribery.
