California is having a heat wave, with very high consumer demand for electricity. At the same time fickle wind power decides to take a powder since the wind is not blowing much, resulting in a loss to the grid of a thousand megawatts of wind power. That has given California two days so far of rolling blackouts, where some parts of the state have their power cut off for a period so the whole grid does not go down, and then it moves to a different area that is shut off.

The state of South Australia has seen the same scenario for years until their voters kicked the "green energy" Labour Party out of office over their wind and solar boondoggle.

Roy Cooper is pushing hard to bring this very same fiasco to North Carolina. Cooper wants to make our state reliant of fickle wind and solar to keep our lights on. November will be time to switch off Cooper.
