Conservative Republican Jason Lewis a former Congressman and radio talk show host has pulled into a dead heat with incumbent Democrat US Senator Tina Smith, in Minnesota, where Smith has long been thought to be a shoo-in.

    Conservative Republican Jason Lewis a former Congressman and radio talk show host has pulled into a dead heat with incumbent Democrat US Senator Tina Smith, in Minnesota, where Smith has long been thought to be a shoo-in. Lewis has erased a 9 point Smith lead in the last month according to a new poll by SurveyUSA for Minnesota TV station KSTP.

    Minnesota now gives the GOP another Senate pickup opportunity in the midwest. In neighboring Michigan, black conservative Republican John James, a businessman and Iraq war veteran, has opened up a narrow lead in the polls over low key incumbent liberal Democrat US Senator Gary Peters.

    The BLM / ANTIFA riots in midwestern cities, which were allowed to get out of control by Democrat governors, are thought to have helped push voters toward GOP candidates
