    • Beaufort County has had a total of 1,375 cases, with 161 currently active, 8 of which are hospitalized.
  • All active cases are self-isolating.
  • Eastern NC counties with total confirmed cases include: Bertie, (723), Beaufort (1,375), Bladen (1,073), Brunswick (2,149), Carteret (1,105), Camden (135), Chowan (531), Columbus (1,667), Craven (2,283), Currituck (222), Dare (363), Duplin (2,745), Edgecombe (1,940), Gates (167), Greene (936), Halifax (1,376), Hertford (852), Hyde (175), Jones (198), Lenoir (1,395), Martin (630), New Hanover (5,171), Northampton (553), Onslow (3,195), Pamlico (310), Pasquotank (856), Pender (1,340), Perquimans (243), Pitt (6,090) Sampson (2,671), Tyrrell (129), Washington (244), Wayne (4,455) and Wilson (2,908). Mecklenburg (32,877), Wake (20,494), Guilford (10,970) and Durham (8,817) counties have the most cases.

    Re-Opening Timeline / Guidelines
    Phase 3 (Will continue through Nov. 13th)

    Governor Cooper has announced that North Carolina will transition to Phase 3 beginning at 5pm Friday, 10/2. This change will allow for the following.

  • Large outdoor venues with over a 10,000-person capacity can open at 7% occupancy.
  • Smaller outdoor venues can open at 30% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less.
  • Outdoor amusement parks can open at 30% capacity.
  • Movie theaters & conference centers (indoors) can open at 30% occupancy or 100 people, whichever is less.
  • Bars can utilize outdoor areas at 30% occupancy or 100 people, whichever is less.
