Business Owners in NY Run off Sheriff and Health Department Over Lockdown | Eastern NC Now

    About a hundred Buffalo, NY business owners were meeting to respond to Governor Cuomo's latest lockdown order, when an anonymous complaint led to deputies and health department officials showing up. The business owners told them they were trespassing on private property and demanded they leave, which they did to chants of "Get Out" and "We will not comply". One business owner yelled "civil disobedience starts now", and it was repeatedly pointed out that the officials were violating the Constitution.

    Also in New York, a number of sheriffs have refused to enforce Cuomo's new executive order, saying their oath to defend the Constitution takes precedence over his executive orders. The same is happening in California where all the sheriffs in the Los Angeles region have refused to enforce Gov. Newsome's latest lockdown executive order.
