Good Morning Everyone,
The NWS has added more information to their 8am briefing
. The following conditions are forecasted for Beaufort County.
Rain chances will begin to increase after sunset today, and continue through the daytime hours on Monday. Our heaviest rains are forecasted to occur between 10pm tonight and sunrise tomorrow morning. 1" - 1 1/2" of rain is possible though Monday evening.
Southern winds will begin to increase after midnight tonight, becoming sustained at 15 - 20mph by sunrise tomorrow. These conditions, along with gust of 25 - 30mph will continue through the day on Monday.
We will experience our greatest chance of thunderstorms between 10pm tonight and sunrise tomorrow morning. These storms will be capable of strong, gusty winds and periods of heavy rain.
