Coastal Storm Impacts - Beaufort County - January 28, 2021

News Release

    Good Morning Everyone,

    This afternoon's update from the National Weather Service has included a significant change to the forecasted snowfall for Beaufort County. All areas north of the Pamlico River, as well as areas north and west of Vanceboro and Blounts Creek are now forecasted to receive between 2" and 3" of snow. The timing of this event, and other aspects of the forecast were relatively unchanged.

    Please see the attached briefing and email below from the National Weather Service for more information.

    This will be the last update provided for this event. We encourage everyone to continue to monitor local media outlets for any additional changes.
