Democrats shredding Bill of Rights in impeachment | Eastern NC Now

They speak with forked tongue

ENCNow

The Democrats unconstitutional Stalin Show Trial impeachment of President Trump stands the Constitution itself on its head by trying to impeach someone who is now a private citizen, but it gets worse than that when one considers the attacks on the Bill of Rights in what the Democrats are doing.  The whole basis of the impeachment is an attack on President Trump's exercise of his 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech.  Now, procedurally, they are trying to shred the 5th Amendment as well, as House impeachment managers say they will argue that President Trump's refusal to participate in their charade by appearing for questioning will be argued as proving his guilt.  This is  simply a gross violation of not only the 5th Amendment but Anglo-Saxon jurisprudence going back centuries as well.

Are they going to try to impose this new standard of having to prove your innocence on other American citizens?

Anyone who tries to tell you that the Biden - Pelosi - Schumer Democrats are anything other than rank totalitarians is totally clueless.
