President Eisenhower warned of science intruding into public policy

In his famous Farewell Address where he warned of the Military Industrial Complex, President Dwight Eisenhower also warned of the dangers of science intruding into public policy, especially of government funded science doing so, and that warning comes immediately after his warning about the Military Industrial Complex.

Here are President Eisenhower's words:

I"n this revolution, research has become central; it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been over shadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite".

Is that "scientific-technological elite" that Eisenhower warned of here?  The climate alarmist mania and the Covid lockdowns are good examples of how Democrats are allowing them to control public policy, and that is bad for freedom and democracy.

Most of the pro-alarmist climate research has been government funded from the very beginning, with almost none until the UK put government research money into it for political objectives.  And it was scientists in government positions who have driven policy on the Covid lockdowns.

Eisenhower knew alot of things that upset the Military Industrial Complex aka The Deep State. He actually called their bluff several times.....

One instance was in 1958 when he was preparing to invade Area 51.h
He, Eisenhower, was told by THEM that it, Area 51, wasn't government property.....let that sink in.

"Science" is also a very vague term. THEIR version of "Science" is an open violation of nature and will not go on without consequence.....trust me on that.

Btw, this isn't a conspiracy theory. Nothing can stop what is coming.
