Will Covid tyranny morph into climate tyranny? | Eastern NC Now

governments looking for ''emergencies'' to increase their control over us

ENCNow

Our freedoms have been under serious attack by government overreach in the Covid pandemic.  Extreme measures which were not even imposed in the far more deadly Spanish Flu Pandemic a century ago were foisted upon people all over the western world.  It was all in the name of "protection" which is common in tyrannical encroachments.  Now the left is keen to use that precedent to tilt at their climate alarmism windmill.  Biden is one of the big cheerleaders of that movement and the EU is already on board.

Where is all of that heading?  The green new deal, skyrocketing electric rates, and the like are the early moves, but it is likely to get more sinister and personal.  Some of the greenie "experts" have rolled out a particularly odious proposal to restrict our freedom, a personal carbon allowance.  A citizen would get an allowance yearly and anything they did that was considered to involve carbon would be deducted from that allowance like buying gas, paying your electric bill, buying meat, etc.  If you run out, you would have to find somebody to sell you some of theirs.  But wait, it gets worse.  The amount of carbon credits each citizen is allowed would be reduced year by year.

It is time to fight back before we are trapped is a dystopian tyrannical nanny-state.
