Gov. DeSantis files lawsuit, issues executive order
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken action against Biden's open border policies, pointing out their huge cost to taxpayers. He has filed suit in federal court demanding the the Biden regime follow fellow immigration law instead of thumbing their noses at it. He has also issued a state executive order prohibiting all state agencies from any cooperation with federal agencies that bring illegal aliens to Florida, requiring a review of the state licenses of any facility housing illegal aliens, orders a review of company compliance with e-verify laws, and orders state agencies to compile costs of illegal immigration.
On cooperating with what he termed federal "lawlessness", DeSantis declared "this is an absolute red line. We are not going to do it."
