New poll: NV GOP challenger leads Dem US Senator | Eastern NC Now
was supposed to be Dem safe seat
Nevada is the latest "safe Democrat Senate seat" up in 2022 which polls are showing is, in fact, not so safe for the Biden party. A recent poll in Colorado showed that Senate race highly competitive. Polling in Nevada actually show Republican challenger Adam Laxalt two points ahead of the Democrat incumbent.
Laxalt is a former state Attorney General and the son of long time former US Senator Paul Laxalt, a staunch Reagan conservative.
