Italy revises Covid death count DOWNWARD by 97% | Eastern NC Now

Italy's Institute of Health has revised its death count from Covid downward by over 97%.  They did that when they changed their definition from dying "with Covid" to dying "from Covid".  That brought down the official Covid death toll in Italy down from 130,468 to only 3,783 during the entire pandemic.  The new number is less than a typical flu season.

There have been so many blatant examples of things counted as "Covid deaths" that were clearly from something else.  The man killed in a motorcycle accident in Florida who happened to have Covid when he had the accident was one well publicized example. Another was multiple cases of gunshot deaths in Colorado which were counted as Covid deaths.  That had led one pundit to proclaim that "not only is Covid armed, but it appears to be a pretty good shot.  Who knew?"

Italy's government has imposed a draconian vaccine mandate that is being widely resisted with demonstrators blocking some ports, railway stations, and airports.  That and the lockdown that preceded it seems to be a massive overreaction to a disease that has only killed less than 4,000 in a year and a half.

And what about similar authoritarian government actions here?  What is the US REAL number of deaths FROM Covid instead of WITH Covid.
