Democrat President Joe Biden's administration has reportedly failed to disclose information to the American people related to the number of illegal aliens in the United States.

The Department of Homeland of Security (DHS) has given Congress the report on the number of illegal aliens that are in the U.S. on expired visas but has not disclosed the information to the American public.

    The Free Beacon reported:

Under the Immigration and Naturalization Service Data Management Improvement Act of 2000, the federal government is legally required to prepare an annual report on the number of foreign nationals who are suspected of overstaying their visas. That report must also be submitted to the House and Senate as part of a bipartisan effort to better track abuses in the country's immigration system.

Subsequent appropriations bills for the Department of Homeland Security require the agency to post these reports publicly. For five years, starting under the Obama administration, DHS complied with the provision. The report was posted on DHS's website each year under former president Donald Trump.

"For whatever reason, it appears political appointees are not disclosing a report produced by career subject matter experts. It's consistent with the Biden administration's general hostility to transparency," former Immigration and Customs Enforcement senior adviser Jon Feere told the Free Beacon. "The Biden policies are a slap in the face to all State Department employees-the message is that all foreigners can ignore visa adjudicators and stay as long as they'd like."

The Biden administration's failure to disclose the information to the American public comes as its policies have been widely accused of creating one of the worst border crises in U.S. history with more than 1.7 million encounters occurring in FY2021.

In response to the latest border numbers for the month of October, which showed more than 164,000 apprehensions, former acting DHS Secretary and current Heritage visiting fellow Chad Wolf said, "this is what catch and release looks like."

"Since President Biden took office, apprehensions at the border have totaled more than 100,000 every single month," Wolf said. "His border security strategy has failed. It's time for the president, Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and the rest of the leadership at the Department of Homeland Security to admit that failure and change course. However, their public statements and continued push for evermore radical policies show that they are going to do anything but. Just days ago, we learned the Biden administration is working on a plan to provide nearly half a million dollars to illegal aliens who have crossed our border and violated our laws with impunity-funded by the taxpayer dollars of working Americans, of course. It's policies like these that continue to drive this crisis. This has to stop."

Former acting CBP commissioner and current Heritage visiting fellow Mark Morgan said that "it's important the American people understand what these new numbers say-and what they don't."

"They show clearly that the Biden border crisis is in full swing, and remains historically catastrophic. More than 164,000 apprehensions is a devastating number-20,000 higher than the worst single month of the 2019 crisis," Morgan said. "They also raise major questions about CBP's data, for several reasons. First, we know there were approximately 8,000 Haitians who illegally entered in Del Rio, Texas, but rather than face deportation, they went back to Mexico. Sources tell me that since Border Patrol did not technically 'apprehend' them, they won't be included in the October numbers. Second, illegal aliens apprehended by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and then processed on state charges are also not included in CBP's monthly totals. This number could be in the thousands."

"As more and more Border Patrol agents are pulled off the line to process illegal aliens into the country, more illegal aliens are simply crossing unchallenged into the country," he added. "The Biden border crisis remains a historic crisis jeopardizing our national security, making a mockery of our laws, and forever changing our republic through mass illegal migration."

Inarguably, the policies of the Democrats in congress and Joe Biden as the Executive is plunging the United States into a recession, if we are not already there; a recession that was completely avoidable. Will abrupt changes in policies occur in time?
Yes, the Democrats have a bold plan, yet to be revealed, to save us.
No, there will have to be a complete undoing of the damage done by these Democrats.
I can't do simple math, so how am I to understand the concept of basic economics.
